I always felt that we copy parents in many ways. Or is it because their genes are in us that we imitate parents.

Your creativity is spellbinding. Bluebells ...Ron, thank you for your lovely comment. Bluebells are classed as wild flowers and as such they become weeds if they enter gardens without being planted by the owners. Most wild flowers are pretty but if they're not wanted in a garden they become weeds. Strange but true!Valeriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12099030819314552958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8984234400935984998.post-74712747293070346942011-05-06T16:40:21.331+01:002011-05-06T16:40:21.331+01:00"The sight before me is wondrous. The blanket..."The sight before me is wondrous. The blanket of flowers between the pine trees just has to be God’s gift to me on this day. Bluebells en masse and a fragrance that never fails to astound me. Whilst listening to the robin’s song I place the basket on a tuft of grass and kneel to collect flowers for my Dad."

How beautiful, Valerie!

I too thought this story was Ronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15977027331657615697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8984234400935984998.post-42327574241347960362011-05-06T14:22:34.259+01:002011-05-06T14:22:34.259+01:00Thanks everyone for your comments. The whole story was purely creative writing. A vase of bluebells picked from my garden gave me the idea for the story. Although it was written in 'first person' I gave a clue that it wasn't me by calling the 'first person' Valeriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12099030819314552958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8984234400935984998.post-77512543529522312492011-05-06T13:52:21.112+01:002011-05-06T13:52:21.112+01:00you write with such a tender pen valerie...i reall...you write with such a tender pen valerie...i really loved this one...Brian Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00722940075884718007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8984234400935984998.post-8441312184817164592011-05-06T11:20:15.789+01:002011-05-06T11:20:15.789+01:00We have the most beautiful scattering of bluebells...We have the most beautiful scattering of bluebells in one of our fields.
