Passwords, love 'em or hate 'em

Pinched this from another blogger which, after my many failed attempts to change a password, I thought worthy of passing on.

  2. Some day there will be a better way than passwords. Every application demands one, and they all have different requirements so you can't just one, then they warn you not to write down you password anywhere....arrrg indeed.

My post on the subject, maybe I should re-run

  3. Somewhere into my internet experience, I put different user names on different sites, besides different passwords. Then I began to forget what went with what. What nuttiness trying to fin out what they were, I have finally got a safe place to keep all that info and most of my internet fol-de-ral.

Another fun thing is their security questions ... It's a joke too!

  5. Hahaha! I must admit that I find passwords infuriating. And I never use the same so I have many roaming my head like ghosts in an old castle.

  6. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Great one, Valerie! I think having to create or change passwords is the most frustrating thing. At work, for security purposes, we are required to change our password to our online account for checking our work schedules for the week and to also view our pay stubs to our paychecks, EVERY TWO MONTHS. OMG...it's such a pain because it cannot be anything like our previous passwords, so we have to thing of a completely different one each time.

    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!&#*!@&

Do you remember a few years ago when I wrote a post on my blog about changing/creating passwords for the Internet?

Hope you have a FAB rest of your week, my friend!

  7. Joeh, thanks for the link which I followed. Great post as well as being humorous. I have a long list of past passwords on the computer with a secret name to get in. Most of them I don't need anymore!!

  10. Oooh Ron, every two months would cripple my brain altogether. How on earth to you remember them if they are changed so often? I don't remember your post on the subject but that's not to say I didn't read it... if you know what I mean! I will go on a hunt.

  11. This made me smile this morning! I think that anyone with a computer can relate to this! I use a variation of numbers and letters that have meaning to me. I record all of them in one "secret" book. It is maddening to have to have so many unique passwords! But I also understand from a security standpoint that we must.

    Thanks for the chuckle :-)

  13. That's funny. I hate changing passwords and I also hate that I forget them especially on sites I only visit rarely.
