Updating the last post, Emirate Airlines have decided they've had enough of all this ash cloud/major shutdown of airspace nonsense. Guy has been told he can't fly home for another nine days. Yes, I know it could be dangerous to fly but I worry that I won't remember what he looks like when he gets home. If he ever does. Lots of people are frustrated with the situation but because Guy is with family I don't have anything to worry about. Except for the milkman!Milk is a commodity I had to give up when I was poorly so I asked the milkman, by a note in the empty bottle, to leave one semi-skimmed on Monday 19th ... for Guy. However, because of continuing worries with our airspace Monday 19th was changed to Friday 23rd. Another note was left for milkman cancelling the milk for 19th.
Since plans continued to change I told Guy I would inform the milkman! He saw the funny side straight away. Yes, I think we all know the tale about the housewife and the milkman!
So now we're looking forward to April 29th ... I just hope the milkman remembers!
