  3. There's something magical about the early morning sun painting light on the autumn trees..... We've got rain at the moment, but it's warm out for November. Yesterday we had thunder storms--NOT that I'm complaining. We'll be arse deep in snow soon enough. LOL Lovely photos--I hope that means you're enjoying the day for all it's worth.

  5. Grab the sun's warmth whenever and wherever we can! If it's a sunny morning, I open my patio curtains wide to let the warmth in. If it overcast and dismal like this morning, they stay closed.

    Nice pics

  6. Gorgeous photographs, Valerie!

LOVE the ones you captured of bird sitting in the tree! The contrast in color between the leaves and the blue sky are breathtaking.

We've had very little color change in the leaves here, so it's wonderful to see it through your photographs.

We had a few days last week that were so warm, you have thought it was Spring. Although this week we're getting a cold snap.

Have a lovely Sunday, dear lady!

  7. Ron, I was lucky getting the bird pictures... he was so far away I had to do full zoom and hope for the best. I believe we're in for a snowy session next week... Brrrr!

  8. Yes, this is autumn's swan song isn't it - everything looks so beautiful and then it all goes to sleep for a while!

  11. All of our fall color is gone and it is rather bleak right now....winter on its way. The birds are coming to the feeder...I have seen cardinals and woodpeckers.

  13. Hi Herman, Loved your poetic response. Thank you.

Brian, that's my favourite time of day.

Mel, the road gritters are on their way round as I type, which means icy roads... not good but not bad considering what some folk have to put up with.

  16. Hi BC. You are lucky to see cardinals. Their colour must brighten up a drab day.
