For one minute, walk outside, stand there, in silence, look up at the sky and contemplate how amazing life is.
amen.i have a great appreciation for those that have given their all...and continue to do so...in our stead
Brian, I agree with you wholeheartedly.
"We can't thank our brave men and women enough for what they do for us"Amen! You are so right, Valerie. I have much respect and gratitude.Hope you're having a lovely Saturday.X to you and Joe!
Ron, it's a dull day here and cool but we're okay with that, it's a change from oveheating! Thanks for joining with us on Armed Forces Day.
Amen to that!
I read this morning but failed to comment because I was called to trim a tree. But I did extend the greeting to himself and got to hear some wonderful stories anout his father who served in WWII, so thank you. *hugs to you both*
Mel, I'm happy to hear that you were able to trim a tree. Hope it wasn't too energetic. Ooooh how nice that himself was able to reminisce about his father. My Joe is doing the same about his, except his father was in the first world war. Oh wow, all those years ago.
Nothing is enough to thank what the brave hearts do for us..they are the real heroes of a nation..I have nothing but best wishes and respect for them..
If you're new to A Mixed Bag you might find something to interest you, a bit of mirth, a story or two, or some pictures. I'm so pleased you popped in, do leave a comment if you have time.
