Monday Mirth

Referring back to my new Hoover washer-dry, here's a snippet from the instruction book:

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

heehee that’s why hubby is not allowed to use the machine!
(it was his idea to include this snippet)

Wishing all my friends a very Happy New Year

And someone got paid to come up with those instructions for the Hoover! Bless hubby--and bless you for being the responsible adult! ;-)

I adored the header and I had to laugh at several of the cartoons. GREAT medicine for this Monday morning.
I NEED to get a dog! ROFL

Most enjoyed the cat in the basket and the check battery ones. And, of course, the first one of instructions! haha!

Happy new year Valerie, and isn't it crazy, indeed, what warnings companies have to put. Common sense hardly seems to enter into it. The silliest I saw was a champagne bottle warning of the danger of flying corks! :D
