LOST AND FOUND

…..and the news is that my phone has been found.

I was informed by Apple on my ex-Yahoo email account, no longer used by me but which is very good at imparting such news.

My view aside, the news was given by email on phone and computer and I was given the address where it was found and where it now is. It was useful being given the address which is nowhere near where I live, but now that I use taxis it will be easy to find. If the driver gets lost I can always check with Google.

Everything is so easy these days, don’t you think, and having a phone makes everything easier. I wonder if the lost and found phone (when collected) will be as useful as the one I have in my pocket right now.

You can always rely on Yahoo to accept scam messages. It is one of the reasons I moved to Google.

  1. I have had no problems with my Gmail account either, I have used it for years. I am glad your lost phone ended up right there in your pocket and not at some unkonwn address waiting for you to come and retrieve it, most likely it was found by a Nigerian Prince who has a fortune to share...

  2. Goodness, Jimmy. A prince, huh, just my luck to miss out. It makes me sick the way people are plagued by this rubbish. Good for Google for keeping things like this out of our mailboxes.

A-men, Valerie! When I first got online I had a Yahoo account, but soon deleted it. There is nothing quite like Google. And that's one of the great things about having a Blogger blog, because Google owns it, we get NO spam. And if we do, it's captured before we ever see it.

Hope you're having a FAB week, my friend!

  4. Ron, unfortunately I cannot delete it as Yahoo is the email address that confirms my status on Apple!! Although I don't use Yahoo I still get stupid things like this latest. I did find this latest amusing, but I feel sorry for those people who take it all in and believe it.

  5. I don't own a mobile phone which I know amazes everyone. I just don't want to be available 24 hours a day. :D

  6. Joey, I switch mine off quite frequently. Touch on those who want to keep ringing!
