Did I ever mention that Joe likes baseball caps. Over the years he has acquired quite a few smart ones:
Pittsburgh Steelers
Manchester United
HMAS Castlemaine
Wallabies
Bondi Surf Club (Oz)
FIFA World Cup- Germany 2006
New Zealand All Blacks
Canada
Dallas Cowboys
Puffing Billy (Oz)
Alaska
Ford Falcon
Miami Dolphins
Western Bulldogs
plus some that were so worn they ended up in the trash can.
After describing the state of his baseball caps, daughter came to the rescue.
Here are the latest acquisitions:
Australian Tennis Open
and
Movie World (Gold Coast)
Take a closer look!
Aren't they fab, and doesn't he look good in them?
He doesn't look like a man undergoing chemotherapy and that has to be good.

ReplyDeleteYes, he sure does, Valerie!
WOW...that is SOME selection of hats you have, Joe! LOVE the cartoon one!!! I collect caps too, however, none of mine are sports themed caps. They're either a sold color, or have some design on them from various companies I've worked for.
Hope you two are having a super Saturday!
X to you both!
Love the Caps. And Joe looks very sprightly and happy!!
ReplyDeleteWait! What? Maybe sprightly is spelled spritely???
ReplyDeletenice...i def like the looney tunes hat...and i have a couple steelers hats....smiles...
ReplyDeleteWow! Nice collection. That Looney Tunes one is fab. :)
ReplyDeleteI have a few caps but unlike Joe I don't have a head for caps. They look great on him! He must be responding well to the treatment. He looks healthy!
@Montanagirl
ReplyDeleteWhat in doubt, as I often am, I type the word in at Google. Spelling, definition and synonyms are readily available.
I do not wear hats much. I like the Looney Tunes hat.
ReplyDeleteRon, some of those company hats are attractive AND colourful. What a great way to advertise, eh?
ReplyDeleteMona, you were right first time. My mind somestimes goes blank over words. I put it down to age... grins.
Brian, Looney Tunes is my favourite too, although I do like the Steelers outfit.
David, isn't it funny how the Looney Tunes appeals to us?
A really fun blog.! I must emphasise it's only the cap that's loony not me!!
ReplyDeleteI loved all those caps. I wear caps in the summer!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
I look funny in a hat so I seldom wear any other than the straw hat I have for garden work. I like his hats and the cartoon ones are really neat.
ReplyDeleteHold on.....no Green Bay hat?! Okokok....it's all good. He has Marvin the Martian and Bugs! Ohmygosh....AWESOME hat. She done GOOD. And he looks pleased as punch.
ReplyDeleteAwesome collection! Reminds me of my concert t-shirt collection. One can never have too many shirts, or hats! :-)
ReplyDelete@Valerie
ReplyDeleteYep, it is. Something about those characters many, maybe most of us find irresistible.
Funny thing, I had to take my own advice about Google and look up irresistible. I kept misspelling it. :(
Jo looks great in his caps! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pearl. I thought so, too.
ReplyDeleteHe looks great Valerie, definitely can wear a cap very nicely. Please tell Jo I said hi.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! MY Joe hates hats, long story. But your Joe looks so cute wearing these.
ReplyDeleteHope its a good week for both of you.
Hugs, G
Geraldine, you are right, hats don't suit everyone - especially this sort.
