Valerie, what a delight! Can you believe that I have never seen either the stage musical or film of Paint Your Wagon? Shame on me. I've heard songs from it in the past, but never in its completion. Lee Marvin has a very nice voice. And I noticed that Clint Eastwood was also in it, so I checked out some of the other video clips and listened to him sing. Wow...I had no idea he could sing?!
I remember seeing a stage play of this at the Pasadena Playhouse in CA when I was in Girl Scouts. Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin were good as the western characters, not so good as singers. The music was memorable.
If you're new to A Mixed Bag you might find something to interest you, a bit of mirth, a story or two, or some pictures. I'm so pleased you popped in, do leave a comment if you have time.
One of my favorites Valerie. So.was Lee Marvin. I have often gone by his grave at Arlington. He is on one of the main paths.
