PROGRESS REPORT...

I am NOT used to modern equipment. I mean, I was happy with the old water/room heating system even though it was antiquated. However, when things start to go wrong it is time to change. I am sure the guy is fed up with answering questions several times over until I understand what he is telling me. It’s the brain, see, it’s worn out

The engineer is still here, finishing off. I bet he will be glad to get out of the way of my continual questions. Actually, I don’t know why I ask when I don’t even understand the answers!

Well, I guess I will get used to it, and the girls/ladies next door are expert at answering queries.

Catch you later!

  1. It always takes time to get used to new, unfamiliar things. Hopefully your neighbors will have some helpful answers.

    1. I rely too heavily on the neighbours, but they don't seem to mind. How fortunate is that?

  2. I feel for you but I think this time of questions will quickly be forgotten when the heating gets working, Valerie.

    1. Hello Jackie. I have noticed the difference already, after just one night. Asking questions is fine so long as I remember the answers... I do hate this getting old business. Hoping you are well.

  4. Change; especially when it comes to technical things is not easy, is it, Valerie? That's exactly how I feel about Google/Blogger constantly changing things in their apps. And mind you, I don't think many of the changes we for the best.

Glad to hear that your neighbors are so helpful. What a blessing!

Great to see that you posted, my friend! Have a super weekend!

    1. Your first statement is so true, Ron. I never thought I would turn into an old crock who understands nothing. My weekend will be rough, all due to the weather conditions. Definitely something to complain about haha.

  5. I believe you can get a central heating app for your mobile phone if you want to make life even more complicated? Good luck with your new central heating Valerie.

    1. I cried HELP when I read your comment... Ooooh the very thought of messing about with the mobile phone made me cringe. Currently, it's the only thing I can rely on.

  7. As long as you know off and on for now, it's all good. You'll soon learn all the ins and outs of it.

    1. Just to complicate things I was told never to touch the on-off button. Everything is supposed to work without any instruction from me. I wish I could believe that.
