For one minute, walk outside, stand there, in silence, look up at the sky and contemplate how amazing life is.

Clever, talented ... and funny
Also known as the Crown Prince of Denmark, the Unmelancholy Dane, and the Great Dane.
Born 3 January 1909 in Copenhagen, Denmark
Died 23 December 2000 in Greenwich, Connecticut, United States
Brilliant! I had forgotten how good Victor Borge was. I think I only saw him when I was quite young and I remember my mum saying how suave he was ! I might share this on my facebook page....
Our public broadcasting stations still sometimes run some of his bits....and I spent a Saturday watching him on youtube a year or so ago. He could really make you laugh.
BRILLIANT video clip! And it just goes to show how talented he really was because in order to do the 'comedy', he had to be very proficient in playing the piano. The other gentleman was wonderful as well!
Thanks for sharing, dear lady. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
I remember watching him on TV with my dad and laughing til we could not catch our breath. I've seen him recently on PBS and apparently his humor is timeless. WE bought his DVD's and I am waiting for a nice rainy day to binge on Borge.
If you're new to A Mixed Bag you might find something to interest you, a bit of mirth, a story or two, or some pictures. I'm so pleased you popped in, do leave a comment if you have time.
