I'm back

I hope you all missed me like mad!! 

I had a carpet fitted in the computer room. No problem there, you might say, but there was when guy pulled the wall plug which disconnected Broadband. Hence the absence. I mean, it is difficult to get on line when Broadband disappears. The length of time I had to wait for yet another guy to come and put things right was unbelievable. Finally, though, that last guy was an expert and put things right in no time at all. And I lost no time in posting this. 

Must go, I have a room to see to. I just wish I could remember what went where!!

    I wondered what happened to you. I'm glad you're back and everything is all right. And hopefully you'll get your room reorganized soon.

      Hi Jon. It's only been a few days but it feels like an age since I was able to come on line. Oh well, all's well that ends well. Good to be back, I hated not having anything to do...lol.

    Yes, Valerie....you were VERY much missed. So glad to see your post. I feel your frustration because years ago, I lost my internet AND phone service for almost TWO weeks. Oh, how aggravating that was!?@#

      Two weeks? Ron .... I don't think I would have survived. I never thought I would be so frustrated over a mere laptop... lol. Good to be back amongst friends.

    Welcome back, Valerie, although admittedly I didn’t notice you were not online. It’s because I also haven’t been online since last week. My reason wasn’t due to disconnects, but rather travel to visit family for the holiday and my own personnel disconnect. I did ‘t take a laptop on our road trip and that was by choice. Glad your back online, blogger friend, and hope the room is back in order too.

      I wish I could say travel prevented me from blogging... grins. Since the room returned to I have marvelled at the way it looks, but not marvellous thoughts re whee everything is now. I can't seem to find anything and my ageing brain doesn't help. I guess things will get right eventually.
