A NOTE TO MY FRIENDS...

I had a moan, mainly to get a few things off my chest.  And what did I get? I got sympathy, I got advice, I got words to cheer, I got commonsense, I got words of wisdom, but mainly I GOT YOU.  All of you. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to get in touch with this cry-baby. So what if I can't get out. So what if sometimes I go down instead of up. So what? I learned that people care, they go out of their way to make me see sense, but just by being there for me was the medicine I needed. I love you all.

Someone once said that blogging was a waste of time ... that someone should think again.

  2. Valerie, I totally agree with you about blogging not being a wasted of time because I've been blogging for almost 14 years now, and I've meet some of the most sincere and caring people through this medium. I remember how much blogging helped me when my mother passed away in 2012. The love and support I got from everyone was such a HUGE help. Loving and caring can be felt in person or online, because it's an energy that goes beyond physicality.

Please know that you are loved, thought of, and cared about, my friend!

X to you and Mr. Charlie

  3. You are welcome, Valerie, and sure that others will say the same thing. Never apologize for having a "moan" as you called it, because plenty of us, like myself, have done the same and called it a rant. It's good to share feelings because people DO care and I have found that bloggers are so much more interested in others than those on FB and other social media postings so many do, myself excluded. If you ever need to vent, we bloggers are always here to listen and hopefully provide some useful advice. Glad you are feeling better and blogging is definitely NOT a waste of time in my opinion as well.

    1. I once was a member of Facebook but didn't like it one little bit. Fortunately, I had the blog to fall back on and would not dream of doing anything else.

  6. Most of my blog is a 'moan', except for doggy and yard stories. It's cathartic and people understand. I wish I had all the friends you do :)

  7. Sorry I didn't leave a note. I do read your blog though. (Even if I don't always post a comment.... leaving Too many comments strikes me as a little creepy) It's just me... I'm not a stalker! Oh! And more Charlie pics!

  9. Blogging is definitely NOT a waste of time. For those of us who can't get out and about, the ones who are too shy to interact 'out there' with real people, blogging is a great way to 'meet' new friends and even travel the world, virtually of course. And if we can help cheer up those who need it, that's a bonus. Glad you are feeling better.
