Faraglioni: the three spurs of rock which rise up out of the sea, within meters of the island's Southern coast. The rocks have each been given a name: the first, still attached to the land, is called Stella, the second, separated from the first block by a stretch of sea; Faraglione di Mezzo and the third, Faraglione di Fuori or Scopolo, meaning the head or promontory stretching into the sea.

  1. Wow...what a cool little clip. And what a beautiful little spot. The floral arrangement outside the shop is just too cool--but inside the other shop....I just wanna straighten the pictures on the wall. LOL

Nice collection, ma'am. What a nice little spot on the planet.

  2. Thanks for the spam tip Valerie.

This must have been a beautiful trip. The white walls of little shops on the Mediterranean are idyllic. I loved the island parts of my big fat Greek cruise. I only wish Mr BC had been with me, but I am glad to have shared it with my mom.

  6. You're very welcome, Banker Chick. I haven't done Greece, I imagine the scenery etc would be great there.

Yes, Faye, we had samples and could have bought loads more.

  7. Boat or swim were the only travel arrangements. Not even sure we could fly there. The boat journey was fabulous.

  11. Ron, the one of the rocks is my favourite.... I can almost smell the sea when I look at it. Capri is wonderful, but expensive. Hope your weekend was a good one.

  14. Lovely shots Valerie. I particularly like the floral display at the entrance to the shoe shop and of course the thought of all the shoes excites me. ;)

  15. Pearl, I did go into the Ferragamo shop. It was one of those that doesn't put prices on window displays. I nearly died when I saw the figures...lol.
