The first sign of spring and we were off ....... |
.... to the craft centre |
We found a shop full of doormats
Novel idea, dogs with no heads, just hind legs and bums |
Weird looking owls |
Another doormat. I liked this one. |
There were plenty of signs, too, but the best is shown at the end.
I like the garden picture doormat best too. Yes that last sign is sad but true. I hope the weather is good for you again today. The sun is out again here today I'm off out to enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that spring has arrived in your parts, Valerie!
ReplyDeleteThis was the strangest spring, wasn't it? And here as well. One day it felt like spring, the next it felt like fall. Right now we're getting unusually hot and humid full-summer weather. Yesterday it was over 90 degrees!!
Enjoyed your photos of the craft center. Love the dogs with no heads. And I agree, the doormat you liked best is awesome! It looks like a painting.
Have a lovely Sunday, dear lady!

Okay--THIS kind of shopping I can do! Right, you go, take photos and I'll tell you what to pick up!
ReplyDeleteNothing from this trip, ty--we have a doormat that warns people about the dog in the bushes.
(we don't own a dog...LOLOL)
bed and breakfast...you make both...ha...now there is an invite...i need the enter at your own risk one...smiles...make anything at the craft center...
ReplyDeleteJohn, the weather here isn't as good as yesterday... sadly!
ReplyDeleteRon, as I said to John there is a change in the weather. No two days are alike lately. We've had the coldest spring for 50 years. Heehee I think I should emigrate to your part of the world.
ReplyDeleteBrian, I didn't make anything, everything was done by other folk.
ReplyDeleteFun post, Val! LOVE the doormats and funky Owls. You saw all sorts of cool stuff there!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun place and what a beautiful setting too!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful week Val. Looking forward to Monday Mirth!
Hugs, G
I like the look of that place Valerie, love the signs.
ReplyDeleteLike the farmer's doormat. The craft place looked interesting with great doormats and owls.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Reminds me of the artist's villa next to the San Diego Zoo. They're set up very similar to this, but on a smaller scale. Awesome Pics!!
ReplyDeleteGeraldine, there was certainly a lot to see. We didn't get round it all because some of it was barred off for kids pleasures.... bouncy castles and the like.
ReplyDeleteHerman, I would love to see a place dedicated to art.
ReplyDeleteI love the doormats! )
ReplyDeletePearl, I would love to have a gimmicky one but never could pluck up the courage :O)
ReplyDeleteThat last sign is Mr BC's motto!
ReplyDeleteLooks like there was a lot to see at the craft centre. I like that one doormat... Friends welcome, relatives by appointment. haha
ReplyDeleteHubby would like 'All you need is love, and a dog.' Since we have two dogs, I guess we're getting double the lovin'. And double the hair and the backyard cleanup... lol
Ooh, that ivy on the building is just divine! I have it on a few fences and so enjoy it. I'm sure there are tons of bugs living underneath the beautiful leaves, and it's very tenacious when it wants to grow away from the fence and thru the yard, but otherwise, very pretty!
