Saturday Special ... food

Last year it was 'buy one, get one for a £1' now it's 'buy one, get one free'. Yes, I know, but since they serve excellent fish and chips we might as well take advantage of the new deal.

  7. Here in the States I've seen buy one, get one half-off meals. But never buy one, get one free.

So yes, I would definitely take advantage of the deal, Valerie.

    Bon appetit!

And have a grand Saturday, dear lady!

  8. Must admit, Mel, butternut squash tart doesn't appeal to me.

It's new to us, Ron. They must be feeling the economic pinch to make such an offer.

  18. Oooh Mr V, and there was me thinking you knew all the angles to get free food.

Star, will F&C be your first meal when you get back?

Diane, I imagine your hunger has abated by now, but I have to tell you the F&Cs were gorgeous.
